1. Standard call forwarding
This service can be used for 2 weeks. Price of call forwarding per minute depends on the operator providing the purchased number:
- MTS - 14,5 rub/min;
- Beeline - 15 rub/min;
- Tele2 - 9 rub/minute;
- Megafon - 11 rub/min.
Call forwarding works only when there is money on the balance of a number, so at the moment of the number purchase the amount equal to the cost of 1 minute of an incoming call will be transferred to it. Further you can replenish balance independently considering your goals and tasks.
In order to save money we recommend you to set call forwarding on a separate number, disable voicemail and an automatic responder. Then call your customers by yourself. Important: pay attention to the general rules of purchasing virtual numbers with call forwarding.
2. Call Forwarding PRO
This service is available only for MTT operator's virtual numbers. The cost per minute of the call is 2.5 rubles throughout Russia. Important condition: for correct work of the service there must be at least 50 rubles on your SMS-Activate balance.
In fact, they are the same virtual numbers with call redirection to a mobile, but they include expanded functions and longer period of use:
- Purchased number will be active for one month:
- You can extend your call forwarding number for up to 2 months at the end of the period;
- You do not need to top up your balance, as money will be automatically deducted from your SMS-Activate balance;
- You can change the number, to which calls are redirected as many times as you need;
- You have access to the history of your calls;
- You can enable and disable call forwarding at any moment.
If you need a virtual number with call forwarding for companies or for private, but not less important, tasks, we advise you to choose "Call Forwarding PRO" then. Important: pay attention to the general rules of purchasing virtual numbers with call forwarding.
General rules for purchasing a virtual number with call forwarding
- Call Forwarding can be set only to Russian numbers;
- To buy a Virtual Phone Number for Call Forwarding you must have at least 150 rubles on your SMS-Activate balance;
- You pay per minute, starting from the first second of a conversation;
- Cost does not change depending on the region or operator of the number the call is directed to;
- Call forwarding can't be set on numbers of Zadarma, MarketCall or other SIP-phones.
How to implement call forwarding
In SMS-Activate it is possible to buy a virtual number with call forwarding for advertising sites or any services, which provide incoming calls. Read a short instruction on how to buy the service on the website.
- Enter the name of the site for which you plan to use the number in the search line of the services list on the left;
- If the service is available, a redirection option will appear in the list in addition to the main name. Example: "Avito" and "Avito + call forwarding";
- If the service is not available, select "Any other + call forwarding";
- Click on the "cart" icon to buy a number;
- After this, the number will be displayed in the "Activations" section, and you will see a window, where you need to enter the number for call forwarding.
- If you do not use the window at once, you can do it later. Just click on the "pen" icon in the activation card to the right of "Call Forwarding".
Way of choosing an operator
- Enter the name of the service you plan to use the number for in the search bar of the services list on the left;
- If the service is available, an option of call forwarding will appear in the list in addition to the main service name. Example: "Avito" and "Avito + call forwarding";
- If the service is not available, choose "Any other + call forwarding";
- Click on the "Heart" icon to add a service to your favorites;
- Click on "Favorites" in the upper left corner under the "Multiservice" button;
- Choose the desired mobile operator;
- Click on the “Cart" icon to buy a number;
- A number will be displayed in the "Activation" section immediately after you buy it, and you will see a window where you need to enter the number for call forwarding;
- If you haven’t used the window at once, you can open it again. To do this, click on the "pen" icon in the activation card to the right of the "Call Forwarding".
Virtual number for call forwarding does not work: what can be the reason?
If you face any difficulties when using the service, look for the answer in this section or contact technical support. So, incorrect work can be connected with:
- Call forwarding has not been activated yet.
It takes 10-20 min to activate the service after installing the number. Please, wait till the end of the activation period.
- Not enough money on the balance.
Pay attention to the following points:
- For ordinary call forwarding you need to have at least the amount equal to 1 minute of conversation’s price of the chosen operator;
- You need to have at least 50 rubles on your balance for Call Forwarding PRO to work correctly.
- Incorrectly entered number.
